At this time of year it’s common to talk about New Year’s resolutions. What are your New Year’s resolutions for 2007? Weight loss? More income? Less Stress? Happiness in an existing relationship or maybe finding that perfect someone?
If you didn’t make New Year’s resolutions, why not? Are you tired of making them, just to abandon the idea a few weeks later? Regardless, we are already 30 days into the New Year.
Many of my current and former coaching clients ask me the same question, “Sharon, what do I need to do to accomplish my goals this year, and what’s more, how can I have fun doing it? I have the answer:

But what’s the secret? How do you create a revolution to help you re-invent yourself? More on that in a moment. First, I want to ask you a few questions and then tell you a personal story.

9 years ago, I felt the same way. When I first started my business, I had a newborn baby. Against all odds and conventional wisdom, I replaced my Fortune 500 corporate income in less than 1 year.
People were surprised at what I accomplished; they even congratulated me.
But I didn't have the energy to congratulate myself. I was exhausted and couldn’t imagine how in the world I would manage another year of the same. It was just not possible.
Looking back, I did many things the hard way.
I worked late nights and weekends and felt guilty all the time. When I was with my family I felt guilty for not working and – yep, you guessed it – when I was working I felt guilty for not being with my family!
At one point I was ready to give up. I knew I couldn’t continue much longer at the same frantic pace. Then, it hit me! I realized I needed to apply the same process to my business that I successfully used with my coaching clients to help them overcome personal challenges and explore innovative solutions for their problems.
And it WORKED!
In fact, it worked so quickly and so smoothly, I wasn't sure it was working at all. But, the results spoke for themselves.
There was no denying I discovered a systematic, highly effective method that if shared would undoubtedly transform the lives of millions globally. It began to take on a life of its own and I had to remind myself repeatedly it wasn't a dream. There were so many external confirmations; I knew I was on to something BIG, REAL BIG.
Looking back, I realize it’s even bigger than I originally thought. It’s bigger than just my work. It’s really about creating a revolution. I’m not talking about the bloodshed and violence typically associated with revolutions. I’m talking about a peaceful revolution that allows people to reinvent themselves.
